Transition

What do you see? What do they see?

A couple of years ago, I was listening to Andrew Wommack\’s message on the way in to work. He was preaching to a congregation of christian believers and he asked the question \”if someone falls down dead right now, would you believe that I can raise him from the dead?\” He went on to explain how most of the people in the audience believed he could but if he called anyone of them out to raise the dead person up alive, most of them do not believe in themselves to perform such a miracle.

Reason being that, Andrew before the congregation is already perceived as \”holy\” and trusted. Andrew went on to explain that each person judged themselves inadequate to perform such a feat because they are conscious of their short comings, doubt and sin. but they do not know if his sins are greater than theirs. Basically trying to make them understand that limiting beliefs is what stops any man from actualizing themselves.

In our every day journey to succeed, we go through different stages. I believe at least 98% of property investors did not start of with a portfolio of properties from the get go, but steadily built one up. Some people did their building process while still working a 40 hour/week job. I discover if you introduce yourself as a property investor, instantly people\’s mind go into how many properties do you have in your portfolio. They fail to see that there are many strategies to property investment, including sending money on errand through crowd funding or development platforms, leveraging, joint ventures or packaging deals.

This is the same in every project we aspire to achieve and not just limited to property investing. In that same success journey, we will encounter different signals. Positivity, optimism, desire, dreams, available usable resources, leverage and many more things create a green light in us to go out there and chance our dream. Your family, friends and work colleague seeing you every day struggling with the same work process you have always done will mostly see red or amber lights as they probably see a dreamer, doubter, same guy with a head in the cloud.

Now, irrespective of what colour light anyone chooses to see including yourself, your journey to success is a transition process only if you believe in yourself to get there and to take take every obstacle in your way as a character forming stepping stone or challenge. The one best thing you can do to your doubters is to show up with your results. Not at their pace, but at your pace.

It\’s another winning Monday and I implore you all to stay on green and remain undefeated. Grab your focus, shine your eyes and go for gold!

After all #YHTK
